Mojo the Talent Scout
finds people who can prove it · An employer's team
Working today
The challenge
Hiring is being flooded from both ends. Applications are effectively free to produce now, and every CV is polished by the same tools, so the signal that used to separate candidates has largely gone. Meanwhile the skills that matter are changing faster than any qualification can certify them, and a degree tells you less about capability every year. So you are left with four hundred applications that all claim the same six things, thirty minutes per person to find out which are true, and no way to tell from the page.
What it does about it
Now imagine a shortlist where every claim already has a document behind it. The Talent Scout searches by proof rather than by adjective — coursework, projects, credentials — and shows you only candidates who chose to be visible to you. Thirty minutes of reading replaced by people who can already prove it.
How it works
It searches what people have actually proved rather than what they have claimed — the coursework, the projects, the credentials, the roles and durations from a CV, each with a document behind it. You see only students visible to you under the level each of them chose, which is why everyone you meet agreed to be found.
What you get
A shortlist where every claim already has a document behind it, from candidates who chose to be found by you. It reads exactly what a student's Portfolio Keeper kept and their Examiner verified, and hands a candidate to your Briefer the moment they accept an introduction.
The machinery
- Producesodin_runs (engine 'employer_chat') — read-views over visible candidates; no student-file writes by design
- Can act whenlib/odin/tools/employer/search-candidates.ts (visibility-gated) · app/api/odin/employer-chat/route.ts
Read from the same manifest the product runs on, so this cannot describe machinery that does not exist.
